Mom to three great son's! Mom trumps anything else ever did, or tried to do in life. Even if you stunk at it. Which I did. The love, it remains, and grows and keeps me moving forward. Love you Joseph, Jason and Patrick: always. I'm here.

"As a single mom of three boys, I was uneducated, unskilled and lacked confidence that I could become a better woman, not just a mom. It took loosing a lot of things in my life before I realized the importance of education, and how effective I could be at teaching, once I learned how to like myself. Today, confidence is still an issue, but it isn't something I am willing to give into easily. Each day that I have, is precious, and vibrant.
I live with chronic pain on a daily basis, a good day for me is one that I can teach someone a new skill, or see a person smile after complimenting them on a piece of writing that they worked hard to complete. There are days when I want to give up, and then I look backwards (just a little), to see a world that I worked hard to get through.
Poverty and addiction were once issues in my life. They continue to be apart of my new life as reminders that if I don't look forward and work hard, it could all be taken away.
While I may not be an excellent business person, I have much strength. The most important skill that I have acquired over the years is compassion for others. This may not seem like a marketable skill, but it does bring a person great things, things that cannot be held, purchased or showed off.
